Who we are

Deep Mist AI FZ LLC operates deepmist.ai. We are a free zone company licensed in the Ajman Media City Free Zone, United Arab Emirates. This policy covers the data we handle through this website and our voice assistant. Data we process for clients during an engagement is handled separately under that engagement's data processing agreement, not under this policy.

What we collect

Contact form. When you send us a message we receive your name, email, company, role, the area you are exploring, and the content of your message.

Voice assistant (Alex). Alex is an AI assistant powered by Google Gemini. When you start a conversation, your speech is sent to Google and processed in real time so Alex can answer. We store the text transcript of the conversation, and your name and email only if you choose to share them. We do not store a voiceprint or any other biometric data.

Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP address and browser user agent, for up to 30 days, for security.

Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you across sites. We set no cookies and run no advertising trackers.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use contact-form details to respond to your inquiry and to scope possible work, which we do to take steps at your request and on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering you. We use Alex on the basis of your consent, given when you choose to start a conversation. We keep server logs and run cookieless analytics to operate and protect the site, on the basis of our legitimate interest in security and reliability.

Where your data goes

We are a UAE company, and some of the providers we rely on are located outside the UAE, so handling your data can involve an international transfer. We rely on these providers (sub-processors):

• Google (Gemini). Powers the Alex voice assistant and processes your spoken conversation in real time. On our paid Gemini plan, Google does not use this data to train its models.
• Supabase. Stores the conversation transcript and any name and email you share.
• Pushover. Sends us a notification when a new message or lead comes in.
• Vercel. Hosts and serves the website.
• Cloudflare. Content delivery, security, and cookieless analytics.

We put data protection terms in place with these providers and, where a transfer needs it, rely on appropriate contractual safeguards and your consent. We do not sell or rent your data, we do not share it for anyone else's marketing, and we do not use it to train AI models.

How long we keep it

• Server logs. Up to 30 days.
• Voice assistant transcripts and any name and email shared with Alex: up to 12 months, then deleted.
• Contact-form messages. Kept while we are in contact and for up to 24 months afterward, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict your data, to object to a particular use, to receive a copy of it, or to object to any solely automated decision. To make a request, email privacy@deepmist.ai. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you have equivalent rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR. If you have a concern we have not resolved, you can complain to the UAE Data Office, and EU or UK residents may complain to their local data protection authority.

Site data and client work

This policy covers data we collect through this website. When we build or run AI systems for a client, we act as a processor for the data in that engagement, under a separate data processing agreement with that client, not under this policy.

Children

This site is meant for business users and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we make a material change to this policy, we will post it here with a new last-updated date.
